NOTE: SOME OF THE ITEMS OFFERED FOR SALE IN OUR STORE ARE OVER-SIZE OR OVER-WEIGHT FOR STANDARD PARCEL DELIVERY SERVICES. FOR THOSE ITEMS, WE CAN ONLY PROVIDE SHIPPING COST AFTER WE KNOW THE FULL SCOPE OF YOUR ORDER, YOUR DELIVERY ADDRESS AND YOUR PREFERRED CLASS OF SERVICE (ECONOMY, EXPRESS, OVERNIGHT, ETC). WITH YOUR CONFIRMED ORDER, WE WILL OBTAIN PRICING FOR SHIPMENT TO YOUR DOCK AND FORWARD AN INVOICE. SHIPPING POLICY
Marando Industries, Inc. ("we" and "us") is the operator of (https://www.platebeveling.com) ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website, you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.
- General
Subject to stock availability. We try to maintain accurate stock counts on our website but from time-to-time there may be a stock discrepancy and we will not be able to fulfill all your items at time of purchase. In this instance, we will fulfill the available products to you, and contact you about whether you would prefer to await restocking of the backordered item or if you would prefer for us to process a refund. Shipping is managed by Marando Industries, Inc. directly to the customers location of choice. Marando Industries, Inc with registered offices at 90 Water Street, Reading Pa 19605, also referred to as “the seller”. OMCA SRL, with registered offices at Via Curiel 6, 42025 Corte Tegge Cavriago, Reggio Emilia, Italy, also referred to as "the manufacturer". Proposals for the acquisition of the Products sent by "the Customer", also referred to as "the Purchaser", must be sent to the seller exclusively by fax, or e-mail and/or a BTB online platform.
- Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are invoiced separately and are calculated based on weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in the order. Shipping options may include Freight, International, Domestic, Express, or Economy. Shipping costs will be invoiced to the customer within 2 -3 business days after the original purchase is paid in full. Shipping costs will be subject to change if the final ship date exceeds 30 days from the date of purchase.
- Returns
Return shipping expense is the responsibility of the customer. Please review our general terms & conditions for more information on the subject of returns. The customer will be required to make their own shipping arrangements. You will be notified by email once returns are received and when accepted. Only new, unused and undamaged items are eligible for refund. Custom or made-to-order products are non-returnable. Marando Industries, Inc. will refund the value of the goods returned, minus a 20% restocking fee, but will not refund the value of any shipping expense.
- Delivery Terms
4.1 Transit Time Domestically
In general, domestic shipments are in transit for 2 - 7 days
4.2 Transit time Internationally
Generally, orders shipped internationally are in transit for 5 - 30 days. This varies greatly depending on the courier and shipping option selected. Customers will receive specific delivery time estimates at the time of shipping.
4.3 Dispatch Time
Orders are usually dispatched within 30 business days of order payment in full.
Our warehouse operates on Monday - Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays at which time the warehouse will be closed. In these instances, we take steps to ensure shipment delays will be kept to a minimum.
4.4 Change of Delivery Address
For change of delivery address requests, we can change the address at any time before the order has been dispatched.
4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
Marando Industries, Inc. will ship to P.O. box addresses using postal services only. We are unable to offer couriers services to these locations.
4.6 Items Out of Stock
If an item is out of stock, we may dispatch the in-stock items immediately and send the remaining items once they return to stock. The customer may, at its discretion, instruct us to delay shipment until all items are in-stock and ready for dispatch. The customer will be responsible for all shipping costs incurred.
4.7 Delivery Time
Delivery shall take place within the term indicated in the Order as accepted in the order confirmation or, in the event that the term has not been indicated in the Order, within the term of 60 days starting from the first working day after the confirmation of the individual Order. The delivery terms are indicative only and are not essential terms of the contract as per art. 1457 of the Civil Code and, in all events, do not include transport times. Neither the seller or the manufacturer shall be considered as liable for delays or failed delivery attributable to circumstances outside its control, such as,
- a) inadequate or imprecise technical data or delays on the part of the Customer in transmitting to Marando necessary information or data for shipment of the products,
- b) difficulty in obtaining supplies of raw materials,
- c) problems linked to the production or planning of orders,
- d) total or partial strikes, power failure, natural disasters, measures imposed by public authorities, transport difficulties, events of force majeure, disorders, terrorist attacks and all other events of force majeure,
- e) delays on the part of the shipping agent.
The occurrence of any of the above events shall not give the Customer the right to request compensation for damages or refunds of any kind.
The delivery terms are considered as automatically extended:
- a) if the Customer does not supply in good time the data necessary for the supply or requests modifications during execution or in the event of delays in responding to requests for approval of executive drawings and diagrams,
- b) the Seller reserves the right to reasonably carry out partial deliveries.
- Tracking Notifications
Upon dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link from which they will be able to follow the progress of their shipment based on the latest updates made available by the shipping provider.
- Parcels Damaged in Transit
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit the customer must reject the parcel from the courier and get in touch with our customer service. Neither Marando nor OMCA are responsible for damages incurred in transit.
- Duties & Taxes
7.1 Sales Tax
Sales or Use Tax (if any) is the customers responsibility. Depending on the shipping destination, sales tax may be applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website. If no sales tax is applied at check-out, the customer may still be responsible to self-report and pay ‘use tax’ to their local taxing authority. Please refer to your local tax authority for guidance. Customers who are exempt from sales tax must submit a properly executed ‘sales tax exemption certificate’ to sales@marando-inc to have sales tax removed from their invoice.
7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
Unless otherwise agreed and confirmed in writing, import duties & taxes (if any) are the customers responsibility and may be due upon arrival. This varies by state, country, and method of shipping. Marando Industries encourages you to be aware of these potential costs before placing an order with us.
In the event goods are returned to Marando Industries for non-payment of duties, the customer will receive a refund for goods paid, minus the cost of return shipping and minus a re-stocking fee. The cost of the initial shipping will not be refunded. Custom and/or made-to-order items are nonrefundable. In the event custom and/or made-to-order goods are returned for non-payment of duties, the goods will be held at Marando Industries pending customer payment of outstanding duties and any incremental shipping expense. If customer does not pay outstanding expenses within 30 days of written notification, the equipment will be considered abandoned.
